Corus Entertainment Inc., owner of channels like YTV and Treehouse is expanding into interactive online games. They are planning on launching as many as eight, multiplayer online games based on virtual worlds around its successful programs such as 'Jacob Two-Two' link
NCC scores with $4.3 million dollar bequest
Roberta Langley spent her career an unassuming elementary school in Toronto. When she died last year at the age of 89, her death revealed a financial secret. In what is believed to be the largest donation from an individual - Miss Langley asked that more than $4.3 million of her estate be given to the Nature Conservancy of Canada. NCC buys environmentally sensitive land and turns them into nature reserves. Link
